Coaches corner - Meet Jossie Haines

I’m thrilled to recommend Jossie Haines, an executive, career, and leadership coach dedicated to empowering women leaders in tech. With over two decades of experience, Jossie has made significant contributions at companies like Apple, Tile, Zynga, and American Express. At Apple, she led the Siri music team during the HomePod development and the Emmy-awarded Siri media team for Apple TV. As the VP of Software Engineering & Head of DEI at Tile, she significantly grew the engineering team while maintaining an inclusive culture.

Jossie’s mission is to change the dynamics in tech by helping retain women in the field, particularly addressing the drop-off of women after 10-20 years. She is also a passionate public speaker, advocating for women in tech, engineering leadership, and DEI.

Recognized for her contributions, Jossie has been a WomenTechNetwork Speaker of the Year finalist and has received various leadership nominations. Her coaching approach combines direct feedback with empathy, focusing on "loving accountability." Jossie envisions a world where technology meets the needs of women and underrepresented minorities, creating a more inclusive and collaborative environment for all.

What’s new with the Chief Tech Diva? For those still reading....a bit about what's new with me.

After a hiatus, I am gradually re-entering the public social media scene with Tech Diva Success. During this break, I experienced severe, long-term cyber stalking and attacks. While I am not ready to discuss the details, this challenging period has taught me a great deal. Thank you for all my friends and family for your support through this chapter.

I used this time to work with an amazing coach on planning my next era, ideating on the best ways to serve my mission of sparking success by leading and serving. I decided to focus on my self care, my beautiful girls, and reflected on my own journey in life. I have completed my fifth book and developed a comprehensive plan for tech diva success. This fall, I will be bringing new programming to my tech divas and look forward to sharing that with you. My work at Palo Alto Networks continues to be challenging and rewarding.

In light of the recent announcement of the Women supporting organizations shutting down, I am more determined than ever to do what I can with the resources I have. Exciting things are on the horizon, all aligned with my intentions to support and empower women in tech. #TogetherWeCanDoMore #grateful
